When you awake and are doing morning devolution's, don't forget to put Gods' armor on.

Remember what He told us in Ephesians (6:10-17 ) :    

  

10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle  against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace, 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.

Jesus is the only way to Heaven

Jesus is the only way to Heaven

Today there seems to be an interfaith movement claiming there are many paths to heaven. But Jesus emphatically told his disciple Thomas these words; "I am the way, the truth, and the life. no one comes to the Father except through me" John14:6 In this one statement Jesus makes it simple for all to know that there is only one way to heaven is through beleiving in Him.
This should settle the debate that ther are many paths to God, and that the interfaith movement is another deception by satan to deseive people. One must undrstand Islam cannot get you to heaven. Instead it will get you a straight ticket to hell.This also goes for Hinduism or any other false rligion on earth. Only through giving your heart to Jesus can get you that ticket to heaven. Even when the interfaith movement led Christians to pray Muslims, Hindus and Jews at our National Cathedral after 9/11 was heresy by the Christians who participated in it.
There is only one way to heaven and that is through our Lord Jesus Christ. Romans 10:9 says " that if you cnfess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved" Any other way or path af way is either apostasy or false religion,

Homosexuality is a sin

You shall not lie with a male as with a woman.  i t is an abomination Levitcus 18:22

    If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman both of them have committed an abomination.  They shall surely be put to death .  Their blood shall be upon them.Levitcus 20:13

    Likewise also the men leaving the natural use of the woman burned in lust for one another,men with men, committing what is shmeful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of  their error which was due. Romans 1:27

    Three verses from the Bible,two from the Old testament  on fromthe New testament.  All three verses bluntly calling homosexuality a sin an an abomination before God.  Yet in some of todays Christian denominations they are performing homosexual weddings and even have homosexual pastors.

    These same denominations are even misleading people to believe  they can live as homosexualsand be saved. Just these three verses should let them this lifesstyle wil lead them sraight to hell.

    The first verse Leviticus 18:22 absolutely outlaws the lifestyle of homosexuality altogether.  While the second verse cited Leviticus 20:13 raises the issue of the penalty in the Old Testament for homosexuality was death.

    The  third passage cited from Romans1:27  once again affirms         homosexualityas sin yet it adds that homosexuality itself is the punishment.  Having rejecting God by living as as homosexuals these men and women have been given over to their “shameful” passions.  They “themselves receive the penalty of their error.”  this reminds us what God tells us in Galations “Do not be deceived,God is not mocked: for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. For he who sows to his flesh will of the flesh reap corruption, but he who sows to the Spirit will of the Spirit reap everlasting life”

    In this verse Paul may even be referring to the self destructive lifestyle which AIDS  is on frightining evidence of it.

    Any church that teachs homosexuality is okay with God is teaching error.  Any church that marries homosexuals or allows homosexual pastors commits heresy against the Word of God and is an apostate church.

    But if you are living the homosexual lifestyle all is not lost .  For God tells us in first John ” If  we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves,and the truth is not in us.  If we confess our sins, He is and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness 1 John 1;8,9  So if are living that lifestyle confess your sin, repent an live for Christ.

How to Pray

Often we find ourselves in morning prayer with not much to pray or we just can’t find the words to say. So I have some suggestions to help you.


First I start off with the Lords Prayer from the Gospel of Matthew:


Our Father in Heaven,
Hallowed be your name.
Your Kingdom cpme.
Your will be done
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive those who trespass against us
And do not lead us into temptation,
But deliver us from the evil one.
For Yours is the kingdom and
the power and the glory forever.
Amen. Matthew 6:9-13


In this single simple prayer I ask that his name be hallowed giving him praise. That his kingdom, which is asking for Jesus to return. I pray that his will be done not mine on earth as it is in heaven. I pray that He supplies me with my daily food. I pray that He forgives my sins as I am to forgive those who sin against me. I ask him to keep from the temptations of satan and to deliver me from the evil of satan. I ask again that his kingdom come praising him for his power and glory.


In this simple prayer Jesus taught us six requests, three for our needs and three asking for his kingdom to come. Which again mean your praying for Christ’s second coming.


One simple prayer that Jesus taught us to cover all the bases. If said with all your strenght soul and mind as Jesus wanted you to then those three requests in the prayer will be met.


But don’t stop there. Now is the time to talk to God and bring to your requests before him. As it says in 1 John ” Now this is the confidence we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hear us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we ask of Him. 1John 14,15. So bring your requests to the Lord. He already knows your needs but He wants to hear them from you.
